PESCO was formed in November of 1989 in Port Townsend, Washington. Starting with two field personnel experienced in underground storage tank installation and removal, service station construction and hydrocarbon contamination in the soil. PESCO has grown into a diversified contractor, licensed in, and serving Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
Since its inception, PESCO has completed projects for a variety of clients including large and small independent oil companies, Local, State, and Federal government entities, school districts, private and State owned ports and harbors, engineering consulting firms, gasoline retailers, real estate developers, and other contractors. PESCO is a member in good standing with the National Federation of Independent Businesses, and is an associate member of the Western Oil Marketer Association, as well as a member of the Oil Heat Institute.

PESCO’s staff has grown to over thirty employees including job supervisors, estimators and technicians. Our staff have been selected for their experience and professional
conduct. Senior staff have all come from varied backgrounds with other companies in the underground storage tank, commercial construction, and environmental services industries. We have combined experience of over 90 years, assuring PESCO customers of our ability to produce quality projects. Our supervisors and foremen are Washington State certified in underground storage tank removal, installation, closure, site assessment, and cathodic protection. All of our field personnel are 40 hour certified under 29 C.F.R. 1910-120, and PESCO complies with OSHA Hazmat and Washington Industrial Health and Safety Administration site safety regulations and has successfully passed WISHA/OSHA on-site audits. Our trained field personnel can provide the on-site management experience required by our customers to assure a successful and cost effective project. As our clients needs grow, we will continue adding qualified people to our staff.
Our construction, testing, and remediation staff have extensive on-the-job experience in underground storage tank removal, installation of new tank and pumping systems, ground up facility construction, installation of soil and water remediation systems, excavation and handling of contaminated soil, canopy fabrication and erection, major oil imaging, and most miscellaneous tank and equipment related issues. We have provided these services to oil companies, oil marketers, engineering consulting firms, State and local government agencies, developers, and other contractors.
